Boomer, Senior & Caregiver Expo

Event Description: 5th Annual Boomer, Senior & Caregiver Expo Planned for Randolph County
Place: Randolph Mall

The fifth annual Randolph County Boomer, Senior & Caregiver Expo is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 at Randolph Mall from 10am to 2pm. The Expo will be free and open to the public. The Expo will provide an opportunity to enhance the health and wellness of baby boomers, senior citizens and caregivers by connecting them to local resources in their own community. This will be a free, one stop opportunity for individuals to learn about resources in the community at a fun and friendly event designed just for them. The event will offer free health screenings, unique entertainment and numerous educational/informational booths. Please save the date for the 2016 Expo!

The 2015 Expo was a tremendous success with over 350 registered participants and over 50 vendors that provided educational information as well as health screenings including spine, balance, body mass index, blood sugar and blood pressure.   

This fifth annual event is being organized by a collaborative of community partners including  Bayada Home Health Care, Brookdale of Asheboro, Carillon Assisted Living, Clapps Nursing Home, Community Home Care & Hospice, Cross Road Retirement Community,  Home Health of Randolph Health, Home Instead Senior Care, Hospice of Randolph County, Pruitt Hospice, Randolph County Public Library, Randolph County Senior Adults Association, Staywell Senior Care, Randolph Health, Randolph Health Home Health,  Randolph Health Medical Group, and Victorian Senior Care.
